As a professionally trained funeral celebrant I have the qualifications and experience to plan, create and carry out a personalised and meaningful funeral ceremony that mourns the loss and celebrates the life of your loved one in fitting way.
In the first instance, I work with close family and friends to gather information about their loved one’s life, values and beliefs. This often includes stories and anecdotes they would like to share. I then craft a fitting tribute which is deeply personal, completely unique and which is a genuine reflection of the person being honoured.
As an independent funeral celebrant I can offer complete flexibility with regards to what is included in the ceremony and there really are no rules. So it can include elements of religion, be non-religious or reflect a diverse range of religious backgrounds. The ceremony can also reflect muti-cultural traditions.
My experience in bringing together these ceremonies also means I can give advice and support and can help with decisions on the structure and content of the ceremony, which can all feel quite daunting. I am also able to include creative and unique elements, such music, readings or rituals that hold special meaning for the family. I am also a reassuring and compassionate presence during what is a very difficult time.
